January 2024 Integration+ Connector Releases

Updates made to the Integration+ connectors in January 2024.

Deprecated​

As of January 2024, Brinqa has two distinct SQL Connectors: the improved SQL Connector and its deprecated version. While the deprecated version will continue to receive essential vulnerability updates, it will no longer be actively developed for new features or enhancements. We strongly encourage users to transition to the updated SQL Connector to take advantage of the full range of features and future improvements.

  • Axonius v3.0.1

    Axonius is an asset management tool that consolidates device data across your various environments. You can bring device data from Axonius into the Brinqa Platform.

  • Fortify Static Code Analyzer v3.0.1

    Fortify Static Code Analyzer (SCA) is an application security tool that scans your code projects to identify vulnerabilities in your source code. You can bring code projects and static code data from Fortify SCA into the Brinqa Platform.

Updated​

  • Amazon EC2 v3.0.2

    The Amazon EC2 connector has added API call timeouts and API call attempt timeouts.

  • CrowdStrike v3.0.23

    The CrowdStrike connector has been updated with the following changes:

    • Fixed an issue where the “Results” attribute was empty for some vulnerabilities retrieved from CrowdStrike.

    • Added an operation option definitionUidPrefix to let users define their own prefix if using multiple CrowdStrike sources. The default prefix is CSID.

  • CyCognito v3.0.2

    The CyCognito connector has been updated with the following changes:

    • Now includes "resolved" issues in the sync process of the Issue object from the CyCognito API.

    • Added exceptions to prevent retry attempts in cases where the CyCognito API responds with a 500 Internal Server Error.

  • GitHub v3.0.5

    The GitHub connector has been updated with the following changes:

    • AUTO_DISMISSED status values on the Open Source Findings and Static Code Findings objects now map to fixed.

    • Added the Validity attribute to the Secret Scanning Alert object.

  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud v3.1.13

    The Microsoft Defender for Cloud connector now maps the Assessment and Assessment Metadata objects to the Violation and Violation Definition data models, respectively.

  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint v3.1.13

    The Microsoft Defender for Endpoint connector now marks the Vulnerability and Vulnerability Definition objects as “Optional”.

  • Qualys Vulnerability Management v5.1.8

    The Qualys Vulnerability Management connector has added asset risk score (ARS) related operation options (ars_max, ars_min, show_ars and show_ars_factors) for the Host connector object.

  • SQL Connector v3.1.5

    The SQL Connector has been updated with the following changes:

    • Used the “Instant” Java class for better date and time handling.

    • Improved messages for specific JDK versions.

    • Introduces support for SQL array data types.

    • Simplified the fields specified in the integration configuration.

    • Added support for the Snowflake database.

  • Tenable Nessus, Tenable Web Application Scanning, Tenable.io, and Tenable.sc v3.1.17

    The Tenable connectors have been updated with the following changes:

    • The data type for CVSS scores has changed from Float to Double to address precision issues.

    • Changed the data type of acr_score and exposure_score from Integer to Double to align with the API response format.

  • Veracode v3.0.9

    The Veracode connector has been updated to avoid retrying the error elements in the Veracode API responses.

  • Wiz v3.1.9

    The Wiz connector has been updated with the following changes:

    • Fixed an issue where an Empty header line error occurred when reports returned by Wiz were empty.

    • Fixed an issue related to a Missing 1 header column: ["uid"] error.
