This release is a patch update for the 11.29.19 platform release.

If you are using the NIST NVD connector, Brinqa recommends switching to Brinqa Risk Intelligence, as the NIST NVD connector is no longer supported in Brinqa Platform version 11.28.x or later.

New features and enhancements​

  • User accounts in the Brinqa Platform could use the same email address, which could cause login issues. After this update, the platform enforces a restriction to prevent different user accounts from sharing the same email address.

  • We added a message indicating that filters are disabled in drill-downs that link to custom URLs.

  • We updated Brinqa Risk Intelligence to ingest more CPE records.

  • We added a banner on the Risk scoring page within each data model and linked to the relevant documentation.

Addressed issues​

  • Fixed an issue where users saw a blank page after canceling an unsaved report. Now users are redirected to the reports list page.

  • In reports, the drill-down dialog on visualizations appeared with a misalignment issue. This fix aligns the link-to options in drill-downs when using Analytics Source or Data Models in reports.

  • Fixed an issue that caused data export to run even when the specified BQL is invalid.

  • Fixed the misalignment in Angular gauge charts that caused the main visualization to overlap with other visualization elements.

  • Fixed the issue that disallowed comments from being added through bulk updates.

  • Fixed the issue that Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) improperly marked findings as inactive.

  • Fixed an HTTP 500 error that occurred when trying to create a new record manually after editing the dataset.

  • Fixed an issue with sorting by the Type attribute on the Findings page that caused the sort to fail.

  • Fixed an issue in drill-downs that caused linking to a Detail view to fail.

  • Fixed the issue that inputs weren’t consistently applied to reports.
