11.29.200 Platform Release
Released February 24, 2025
This release is a patch update for the 11.29.19 platform release.
If you are using the NIST NVD connector, Brinqa recommends switching to Brinqa Risk Intelligence, as the NIST NVD connector is no longer supported in Brinqa Platform version 11.28.x or later.
New features and enhancements
-
We updated some attributes in the Finding Definition and CVE Record data models to change their type from Text to Single Choice. Previously, there was an issue with CVSS vector values not properly populating, which prevented the following risk factors from applying to vulnerabilities:
-
CVSS V3 vector indicates low integrity and low confidentiality impact
-
CVSS V3 vector indicates no integrity or confidentiality impact
-
CVSS V3 vector indicates local or adjacent access required
-
CVSS V2 vector indicates no integrity or confidentiality impact
-
CVSS V2 vector indicates local or adjacent access required
With this enhancement, the risk scores of the respective vulnerabilities would decrease.
-
-
We added a Length field in the Password type attribute. This allows admins to set the minimum password length for the Brinqa Platform.
-
We made the fullscreen Containers view render the same as the original Containers view. Previously, several visual errors occurred when going fullscreen.
-
Enabled the Administrator and Security administrator roles to CREATE, READ, UPDATE, and DELETE any saved queries.
-
We updated the message when an email cannot be sent in a flow action to be human-readable. Previously, this was populated with a very technical message.
-
We added ‘UTC’ to the date column headers in exports to indicate the time format when providing discrete date and times.
-
We added a Download and a Refresh button on the Subnets tab in host details, which allows users to refresh and export from those views. Previously this was not possible.
-
Implemented an error message for users attempting to reuse a password during the reset process. Email uniqueness will soon be enforced and this notifies a user when an email address is unavailable to a user account because it is already registered to another account.
-
Improved user experience for building a report without selecting a data source first. Previously this would simply show an error even though this should not be selectable. We disabled scrolling while the drop-downs are open.
Addressed issues
-
Previously, the dimension would get cleared if a user created a query with the wizard, switched to the advanced mode, and then edited the query. The dimension should now remain.
-
The data did not update if a user created an Analytics Source visualization then changed the chart type. These should now update appropriately.
-
Cloned List and Form views would not accept an attribute added from a data model that was set as a reference in column or field inputs. This has been updated to properly allow these.
-
Fixed an issue that caused source data models (SDM) to be selectable in report drill-downs, which cannot be accessed by views. We removed SDM list views from the ‘Link to list view’ option for drill-downs so that only unified data models (UDM) are available, which can be accessed by views.
-
Fixed the issue that the Data Model field was empty when editing a relationship table in a data model’s Detail view. These now populate as expected.
-
Fixed the issue that consolidation didn’t work on recursive attributes (a reference attribute of the same type as the data model). These should now consolidate as expected.
-
Fixed the loading issue of the Consolidation page in the Network Subnet data model. This should now load as expected.
-
Fixed the issue that enabling or disabling "Supports Consolidation" on the data model page wasn’t being saved. These should now save as expected.
