This release is a patch update for the 11.32 platform release.

If you are using the NIST NVD connector, Brinqa recommends switching to Brinqa Risk Intelligence, as the NIST NVD connector is no longer supported in Brinqa Platform version 11.28 or later.

New features and enhancements​

  • Added detail view for Visualizations with consistent view and edit modes, similar to Dashboards. This enables drill-down testing and preview functionality without requiring dashboard creation.

  • Improved BrinqaIQ chatbot connectivity feedback by adding disconnection alerts, automatic reconnection logic, and proper error handling when the service is unavailable.

Addressed issues​

  • Fixed Remediation Request creation for limited users. The ACL context is now properly applied when using the "Select All" functionality, ensuring that requests are only created for findings the user can access.

  • Fixed chart creation to preserve selected data source when switching between Basic and Advanced modes in the dashboard builder.

  • Fixed shared dashboards to automatically remove deleted users and roles from sharing lists instead of showing blank entries.

  • Fixed dashboard widget menu accessibility by repositioning header action buttons to prevent overlap with edit options and ensuring consistent display in edit mode.

  • Fixed Dimensions selection to properly display related attributes after initial selection instead of displaying a "No items found" message.

  • Fixed Risk owners cluster form layout to properly utilize the full width of the edit section.

  • Fixed basic input filters to properly clear previous values when switching between data models instead of auto-applying filters from different sources.

  • Fixed PDF snapshot header and footer font sizes to properly scale proportionally with page size changes for consistent layout and readability.

  • Fixed table visualization display issues that caused tables to appear broken after encountering errors.

  • Fixed chart label tooltips from getting stuck on screen by removing animations that caused labels to remain visible after chart removal.

  • Fixed dashboard selection state to properly clear selected items from the action bar after dashboards are deleted.

  • Fixed comment submission to properly disable the comment button while remediation requests are being processed, preventing duplicate comment creation.

  • Fixed share dialog behavior by hiding the share button in dashboard edit mode to prevent dialog from closing immediately.

  • Fixed visualization cloning by adding a Clone button and automatically redirecting to view mode after cloning to prevent user confusion.
