11.29.62 Platform Release

Released November 27, 2024

This release is a patch update for the 11.29.19 platform release.

New features and enhancements

  • We are excited to announce that we added the ability to export selected rows instead of the entire table from List views. This enables users to create more focused exports and reduce strain on the Brinqa Platform.

  • We introduced Mean as an aggregating option for risk scoring models. This allows admins to define an average as the aggregation strategy to risk score aggregation.

  • We added extra support for debugging configurations in Brinqa Health Check. This provides more information to Brinqa Support while troubleshooting platform issues.

  • We removed drag-and-drop functionality from ‘Status configuration’ lists within data models to avoid unintentional changes or order resets.

  • We made all fields editable when cloning risk scoring models. This allows admins to finely tune cloned models to better achieve their desired outcome.

  • We added a Close button to the UI when viewing the saved queries so that the modal windows can be closed without selecting a query.

  • We updated both dataset export flow and analytics export flow to support querying for findings on specific hosts.

  • We changed the export behavior to continue exporting until the max record count is reached and added a log message when this occurs. This allows exports of large datasets that exceed the row limit and notifies the user why the export was truncated.

Addressed issues

  • Fixed an issue that caused cached data to display when utilizing the Test button within a cluster’s conditions. Now only current data is displayed.

  • Fixed an issue with progress calculation in tickets created with sprints so that progress is displayed properly.

  • Fixed an issue with Reports so that empty reports can be opened in ‘Edit' mode directly from the list of reports, instead of requiring users to click the Edit button within the report.

  • Fixed an issue with sorting in List views so that Reference attributes can now be sorted in a related list view.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing errors when creating new views from the Administration > User Interface > Views page, so that users can now create new views of any type.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented buttons from displaying properly when editing a Detail view from the Views page within a data model.

  • Fixed an overlapping fields issue in the edit form so that data is now separated into two rows and is readable.

  • Fixed a data validation issue with Manual Entry records so that the case-insensitivity setting is now honored when configured.

  • Fixed a filtering issue for administrative users and roles at Administration > Security > Roles so that the page updates correctly when the current role selection is changed.

  • Fixed an issue with the ‘stars’ renderer so that the correct number of filled in stars is displayed.

  • Fixed a data discrepancy issue in reports so that report data, charts and drilldowns show matching counts.

  • Fixed a scrolling issue in the Source dropdown when creating an Analytics Source so that the displayed values can be scrolled through properly.

  • Fixed an issue with the Time Zone dropdown at Administration > Data > Orchestration so that orchestration configuration can be edited and saved.

  • Fixed the issue with the ‘Trend configuration’ setting in reports so that ‘Time range type’ can be saved properly.

  • Fixed an issue when adding Parameters to drill-downs in reports using Analytics Source so that parameters can be added and saved for these report types.

  • Fixed an issue with data models using Aggregation for aggregation of risk scores defaulting to '0' so now the correct risk scores are displayed.

  • Fixed a filtering issue with Reports and Visualizations so that the report filter only saves changes when clicking the Update button.

  • Fixed a consolidation issue with Manual Entry of vulnerability tickets that was causing all fields to update and generate audit records. Now only the edited fields are updated.

  • Fixed an issue in which redundant relationships were created in the back end, which led to platform instability.

  • Fixed an export issue with Tabular reports so that they can be exported successfully.

  • Fixed an issue with drill-downs in reports so that the Update button can be used when editing a drill-down configuration.

  • Fixed an issue with ‘Link to Custom URL’ drill-downs in reports so that existing or saved configurations are properly displayed when editing the drill-down.

  • Fixed a filtering issue on Analytics Source charts that was generating HTTP 500 errors so that these charts can be filtered by numeric attributes.

  • Fixed an issue in which limited users could not access Indicators due to a mishandling of ACL.

  • Fixed an issue with ‘Link to list view’ drill-downs in reports ignoring the list view selection when opening the list, so that these drill-downs link to a page that now displays the selected list view.

  • Fixed an issue on the Exports page that was causing all exports to show the ‘Requested By’ user as ‘system’, so that now the column shows the user that created the export.

  • Fixed an issue in the risk owner Detail view in which multiple errors were thrown.

  • Fixed an access issue that occurred when removing users from ownership clusters. Access is now properly updated without requiring a cache refresh.

  • Fixed an issue that caused HTTP 403 errors when accessing certain List views, which caused load failures in some views.
