Jira Cloud
The Jira Cloud connector integrates with Atlassian Jira Cloud to synchronize project, issue, issue type, issue status, issue field, and user data into the Brinqa platform. It supports bidirectional operations including creating, updating, deleting, and transitioning Jira issues, as well as issue linking. The connector uses the Jira Cloud REST API v3 with cursor-based pagination for issue search.
Jira
The Jira Server connector integrates with on-premise Jira Server (Data Center) instances over the Jira REST API v2 to synchronize project, issue, issue type, issue status, and issue field data into the Brinqa platform. Issues are the primary synchronized object and support dynamic schema discovery, with custom fields and issue link types resolved at runtime from the Jira create-meta endpoint. In addition to read synchronization, the connector supports bidirectional operations on issues — creating, updating, deleting, and transitioning issues, and (when enabled) synchronizing issue links.
Jira Insight
The JSM Insight connector integrates with Jira Service Management's Insight (Assets) module on on-premise Jira Server instances. It synchronizes asset and configuration item data from Insight object schemas into the Brinqa platform. The connector uses **dynamic schema discovery** — object types and their attributes are resolved at runtime from the configured Insight schema, meaning the data model is entirely driven by the Insight configuration rather than being hardcoded.
