Supported Use Cases

BrinqaIQ supports multiple use cases to help you interact with the Brinqa Platform.

You can use BrinqaIQ to:

• Write BQL queries with natural language
• Explore and analyze CVEs
• Ask documentation-related questions about the Brinqa Platform

How to use BrinqaIQ

BrinqaIQ is disabled by default. To enable BrinqaIQ, contact your Brinqa Support team. Once enabled, anyone with access to the Brinqa Platform can use BrinqaIQ.

To use BrinqaIQ, follow these steps:

1. Click the BrinqaIQ Assistant icon in the top navigation menu.

   The BrinqaIQ Assistant chatbot opens.

2. Click Select a tool next to the message box. This enables you to choose a specific use case. Choose from one of the following:

   • BQL Query Builder

   • Documentation Assistant

   • CVE Explorer

     note

     Selecting a tool helps BrinqaIQ narrow the scope of your question, which can improve accuracy and reduce response time. However, BrinqaIQ can still generate a response even if no tool is selected.

3. Type a question or prompt into the message box. You can also click one of the default prompts to quickly try the selected tool.

4. Click the Send message icon or press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

   The following screenshot shows an example of how BrinqaIQ might answer the question: "What is a BQL query?"

   

   Depending on the selected tool or question, BrinqaIQ provides a query, summary, or answer in response to your input.
